Version Control
Version Control was developed, submitted and ultimately won the 2024 BONEJAM, a game jam hosted by Camobiwon, developer at Stress Level Zero (SLZ). The jam spanned over 12 days and centered around the theme: subversion with participants being required to create a mod for SLZ's game Bonelab.

The project was a collaborative effort from the team I constructed from my previous project, Labworks. I was one of two main devleopers in this jam and I mainly worked on prototyping level layout and working with the voice actor to record and implement the voice lines for the various ways the player can upset the narrator.

Version control draws inspiration from The Stanley Parable, delievering an immersive fourth-wall-breaking VR experience. The writing is exceptionally engaging and the mod has been highly praised for its creativity and overall execution. I recommend anyone with access to Bonelab to give it a try. Due to it's narrative-driven design, I won't spoil the experience, but in brief, the mod follows a playertester (the player) interacting with a developer testing his new mod.

Version control gave valuable experience in VR design, collaborative teamwork and rapid iterative development under tight deadlines. The project deepened my understanding of VR's unique storytelling potential and the techniques that can be used to illicit direct responses from the player.
